DCDS VALUES ITS MEMBERS
DCDS values the participation of its members and their dependents. Servicing eligible plan members and their eligible dependents is one of DCDS′ primary responsibilities. DCDS places a high importance on providing members with access to quality general and specialized dental care. Eligible plan members and/their eligible dependents are entitled to receive quality dental care at reduced rates.
One of the reasons for this is because of the contractual agreements in place with labor organizations like AFSCME Union Locals 1959 & 2921. In addition, eligible members and their dependents receive quality dental care at reduced rates because participating dentists agree to charge members according to a fixed Schedule of Benefits. Participating dentists are the backbone of any dental plan and DCDS knows it.
That′s why DCDS actively recruits local area dentists to
participate in its plans. DCDS administers dental plans through a network of
dental providers who agree to accept the fee schedule(s), reimbursements, and
co-payments as outlined and defined in the applicable contract(s) and the
Schedule of Benefits, in exchange for treatment of plan members and their
eligible dependents.
As a participating dentist/dental provider, you will be
assisting us in helping members and their eligible dependents receive quality, affordable
dental care. We invite you to consider becoming a participating dental provider
